1) Eligibility

You must be 13+ to use the Services. If you are under 18, a competent person (parent/guardian) should consent to your use.

2) Accounts

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• Provide accurate information and promptly update it when it changes.
• We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

3) Subscriptions and billing

• Premium is billed via Paystack. You authorise us and Paystack to charge the payment method you provide.
• Plans auto‑renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from inside the app; access remains until the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change with notice. Taxes may apply.

4) Refunds and cancellations

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We comply with South African consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) where applicable.

5) Acceptable use

• Do not copy, re‑host, or resell content without permission.
• No attempts to bypass paywalls, security, or access controls.
• No harmful behaviour, spam, or unlawful activity.

6) Intellectual property

All content and software are owned by ProfAcademy or its licensors. Subscriptions grant a non‑transferable, non‑exclusive licence for personal use.

7) Privacy and POPIA

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal information in line with POPIA.

8) Availability and changes

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We will notify you of material changes to these Terms.

9) Disclaimers and liability

Services are provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid in the last 6 months for the affected Service.

10) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
